RESORTS WORLD AT SEA® CASINO & YOUR SHIPBOARD CREDITS

  • As of March 9, 2015 (voyage 5206) on Crystal Symphony® and on March 13, 2015 (voyage 5305) on Crystal Serenity®, all Shipboard Credits may be used in the Crystal Casino and for bingo play.
  • Guests will be able to withdraw up to $100 per cruise of shipboard credits at the casino cage in the form of non-cashable slot vouchers and/or non-cashable table game chips. Bingo purchases are applied to guest folio where SBC can be applied to Bingo charges.
  • A guest needs to visit the Casino on board to arrange for all transactions. The Casino is the only place on board that converts the shipboard credit into non-cashable slot vouchers and/or non-cashable table game chips. Bingo cards are purchased at the event held onboard by our Casino Department.
  • • For Bingo - Bingo purchases are applied to guest folio where SBC can be applied to Bingo charges. All bingo winnings are issued at the event in the form of a Bingo voucher/receipt. This voucher/receipt is then redeemed at the casino cage for cash. 


    • For Slot Machines – Guests will be issued a non-cashable slot vouchers in denominations of $5, $10 and/or $25; multiple slot vouchers are permitted. Winnings are issued in “cashable— slot vouchers from the machine and are clearly differentiated between the non-cashable slot vouchers. The winnings from the cashable slot vouchers can be played at the machine in which they were won, cashed out and played at different machines or can be redeemed for cash at the casino cage. Additionally, once a non-cashable slot voucher is inserted into a machine it must be used in full and will not be returned from a machine as it is considered fully redeemed once in play. 


    • For Table Games – Guest will be issued non-cashable table game chips that are a different color than our cash chips, and only issued in denominations of $5 and $25. Non-cashable table game chips can be wagered on any table game. A non-cashable table game chip wager is a one-time wager and will be surrendered at completion of the hand win or lose. A winning wager will be paid in cashable table game chips. Wagering on opposing bets at the same time on craps and roulette will be prohibited. 
  • Your folio will be charged for the amount applied to the slot voucher(s), the chips for table games and the purchase of Bingo cards for Bingo. The SBC will no longer be available for use throughout the voyage. The credits are considered “spent—, just as if you spent them to purchase something in the boutique, or bought a shore excursion. SBC for the casino are not refundable once they are used and lost.
  • Yes, the non-cashable slot voucher will expire on the last day of a booked cruise. Therefore, if a guest is on a back to back voyage it will expire at the end of the last voyage and the non-cashable slot voucher no longer has a value. The non-cashable slot voucher will be valid for the duration of the back to back voyages without expiry.
  • What if I leave the ship with unredeemed/unused non-cashable slot vouchers or non-cashable casino chips?
  • • Non-cashable slot vouchers will expire at the end of the guests booked voyage and hold no value, they are forfeited. They are not transferable to a future cruise for later use. 
    • Cashable slot vouchers from your winnings can be redeemed post cruise by contacting the Casino Department, restrictions apply as vouchers have a printed expiration date. 
    • Non-cashable casino chips can only be used onboard and cannot be redeemed post cruise as they carry no value when off the ships.
    • Cashable casino chips can be redeemed post cruise by contacting the Casino Department. 
  • Slot vouchers and casino chips of any kind are not designated to a particular guest and can be used by anyone. Any chip or voucher that is physically lost or misplaced cannot be replaced. All shipboard credits used to acquire these will be considered spent and non-refundable.
