  • How do I make advance reservations for Crystal Adventures® shore excursions?

    Guests sailing on Crystal Cruises (Crystal Serenity and/or  Crystal Symphony) and Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises (Crystal Esprit) with a booking number and cruise deposit on file can pre-reserve their desired Crystal Adventures shore excursions online as early as 6-months (180 days) prior to cruise departure via Crystal's online guest check-in portal, Priority Check-In and Planning Center (PCPC). 

  • What if I want to change or cancel a Crystal Adventures shore excursion I have already pre-reserved?

    Simply visit PCPC to edit or cancel your reservation/s. For example, if you want to cancel completely, click on “Cancel Request”— under the excursion on your Personal Cruise Calendar. To change the number of requested shore excursion tickets, you may click on the “Crystal Adventures” tab, locate the excursion, enter in the new amount of tickets desired and click pre-reserve.

  • When will I be charged for my pre-cruise Crystal Adventures reservations?

    No pre-cruise financial transactions take place in PCPC. Payment for pre-reserved  Crystal Adventures  shore excursions are posted to your shipboard account during your voyage.

  • How do I view the Crystal Adventures shore excursions for my particular voyage?

    While in PCPC, when viewing your Personal Cruise Calendar, simply click on the “Crystal Adventures” tab to view the shore excursion descriptions and times for your cruise (click on the excursion’s title to read details and view pricing of excursions).

    PLEASE NOTE: Your cruise/booking must show a deposit in order to gain access and pre-reserve your shore excursions on PCPC. Shore excursion information is available for viewing and pre-reservation approximately 6 months (180 days) prior to the sailing date of a voyage with the exception of World Cruise sailings, in which shore excursion information is available 1 year in advance.

  • When can I pre-reserve my Crystal Adventures shore excursions?

    Important: Pre-cruise reservations for Crystal Adventures cannot be taken over the phone.  

    Shore excursion information is available for viewing and booking approximately 6 months (180 days) prior to the sailing date of a voyage with the exception of World Cruise sailings, in which shore excursion information is available 1 year in advance. Your booking must have a deposit paid in order to gain access and pre-reserve your Crystal Adventures shore excursions on PCPC. 

  • What does it mean when a Crystal Adventures shore excursion’s status is “Closed”?

    All Crystal shore excursions will appear as “Closed” (not available for pre-reservation) until guests have paid a deposit for a booking. Once deposited, PCPC will then reflect shore excursion/s as “Available” for pre-reservation.

    If you have already paid a deposit for your cruise and you still see a shore excursion with a “Closed” or “On Request”  status, then click on the shore excursion’s title, which will prompt the excursion’s detailed description, along with the status of that particular excursion. Typically, these specific excursions marked “Closed”  or “On Request” have certain requirements and therefore can only be crystaladventures@crystalcruises.com

  • How do I get on a waitlist for a Crystal Adventures shore excursion?

    To waitlist any Crystal Adventure shore excursion, visit the PCPC (Priority Check-in & Planning Center) and click on the “Crystal Adventures" tab . This tab provides access to the shore excursion pre-reservation area where you may place yourself on an excursion’s waitlist if the excursion's limit has been reached. The “Crystal Adventures” tab is located at the top of your Personal Cruise Calendar. Requests for waitlists cannot be taken over the phone.
  • How will I know if I clear the waitlist?

    Crystal does all possible to clear waitlists however cannot guarantee any waitlist will clear due to limited space on certain shore excursions. Should space become available, some waitlist reservations may be cleared prior to the cruise departure. If you were waitlisted for a shore excursion and you have been cleared, an email confirmation will be sent to the contact on record for the booking (most likely your travel advisor). Any shore excursions cleared from waitlist prior to the cruise will appear on the PCPC cruise itinerary as confirmed. Simply log in and check your PCPC cruise itinerary for the status of your waitlist. If the shore excursion waitlist is not cleared prior to the start of the cruise, there is a possibility that it may be cleared onboard. Please speak to the Shore Excursions staff once you embark.

  • Why can’t I pre-reserve more than one ticket for a specific Crystal Adventures shore excursion?

    Some excursions, such as overland (overnight) or flight-seeing adventures, require a guest manifest (list of specific names). Therefore, Crystal Cruises requires all guests participating on that excursion to pre-reserve the excursion individually.

    To amend this, look to the upper right corner of your Crystal Adventures pop-up window (where you are viewing shore excursion titles for your cruise on PCPC), and you will see a box marked “Current Guest”. Once you confirm one ticket under the name in the “Current Guest” box, you must then prompt the drop-down menu and select the other guest’s name to pre-reserve a ticket for him/her. The other guest’s name will appear only if you have the same booking number (staying in the same stateroom).

    If you are attempting to pre-reserve a shore excursion for a guest who is not under your same booking (not staying in your stateroom), that guest must log into PCPC under his/her own name and reservation number to complete the Priority Check-in and then pre-reserve the shore excursion.

  • How can I pre-reserve more Crystal Adventures shore excursion tickets than allowed on PCPC?

    For the majority of shore excursions, you may pre-reserve up to eight (8) tickets under one guest name. If you require more than 8 tickets for a particular excursion (e.g., you are pre-reserving for your entire party), you may pre-reserve additional tickets under a different guest’s name or booking in your party and request those tickets be transferred to your account once you are on board (by request through the onboard shore excursion staff).

    If you are still having difficulty, crystaladventures@crystalcruises.com with your detailed request including guest booking numbers, shore excursion codes (ex: STP-A) and number of tickets requested.

     
  • How can I confirm two Crystal Adventures shore excursions operating at the same time (one for me and one for my traveling companion) without receiving an error message about the operation times conflicting?

    In order to pre-reserve excursions operating at the same time, but for different guests, you must pre-reserve each guest’s desired excursion under his/her name in PCPC.

    To do this, look to the upper right corner of your Crystal Adventures pop-up window (where you are viewing shore excursion titles for your cruise on PCPC), and you will see a box marked “Current Guest”.   • How do I receive a confirmation for the Crystal Adventures shore excursions I pre-reserved?

    The confirmation of your Crystal Adventures shore excursion will automatically appear on your Personal Cruise Calendar in PCPC on the date the excursion operates. If you require a printed version, you may print your Personal Cruise Calendar by clicking the “print itinerary” or “print detailed itinerary option located to the right of your Personal Cruise Calendar.

  • How do I cancel a Crystal Adventures shore excursion?

    Important Note:  Cancellation of pre-reserved shore excursions cannot be taken over the phone. 

    To cancel a Crystal Adventures shore excursion, log on to PCPC to access your cruise calendar, and navigate to the date of the excursion you would like to cancel. On that cruise date, there will be a box summarizing the excursion, which has a button marked “Cancel Request; click the cancel button and the excursion will be cancelled, disappearing from your Personal Cruise Calendar.

  • When is the deadline to pre-reserve/make changes to my Crystal Adventures shore excursions?

    Please note, PCPC as well as the Crystal Cruises’ corporate office cannot accept changes and/or cancellations to pre-reserved Crystal Adventures or new pre-reservation requests within 7 days of the cruise sailing date; however, new reservations and changes to shore excursions can still be made on board, subject to availability.

  • Why has an excursion I pre-reserved disappeared from my PCPC Personal Cruise Calendar, even though I did not cancel this excursion?

     

    If an excursion you had previously pre-reserved has been removed from your Personal Cruise Calendar in PCPC, this excursion has most likely been cancelled by Crystal Cruises and your travel advisor (or your Crystal Personal Cruise Sales Consultant, if you booked direct) has been informed to contact you. Please check with your travel advisor for additional details.

  • Are there Cancellation Penalties for pre-reserved Crystal Adventures shore excursions?

    All Crystal Adventures cancelled within 24 hours of arrival in the excursion port are non-refundable and a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. For a list of Crystal Adventures that have special cancellation conditions (ex. 30-day cancellation restriction) , please refer to the cruise specific shore excursion book or the “Important Notes” section of the excursions online detailed description. If cancellation of these Crystal Adventure(s) is made within 30 days of arrival in the excursion port, there will be a 100% cancellation fee charged.

  • Why did I not receive a printed shore excursion book in my cruise documents?

    Electronic Crystal Adventures shore excursion books will be available online approximately 3 months prior to each sailing for reading or printing at home. We encourage you to visit the voyage’s itinerary page or log in to PCPC and click on the Crystal Adventures tab, where you may access the all excursions information and the electronic shore excursion book, when available.
  • Do you offer Crystal Private Adventures excursions that I can book for just my party?

    For guests wishing to explore independently or embark on a private excursion, Crystal Cruises is happy to provide a variety of private services ashore. Pre-reservation of half-day or full-day private vehicle and English-speaking guide services (admissions and meals not included), where available, can be pre-reserved through PCPC.
